Q. Strength of Dr. Younggeun Ji?
Is there something that makes
you stand out from other doctors?
Both as a doctor and as a person,
I believe one of my greatest
strengths is self-awareness.
I have a clear understanding of who I am,
what I’m capable of, and where I stand.
I know my strengths and limitations well,
and that allows me to see myself objectively.

Q. Weakness of Dr. Younggeun Ji?
How do you relieve stress from work,
DJing, or daily life?
I seek counseling from a professional therapist.
Many people relieve stress through good food
or drinking, but I see those as temporary solutions
that only change your mood for the moment.
For me, the more effective approach
is to understand the root of the problem.
Talking with a professional about what is truly
causing stress and receiving guidance
feels like the most practical and reliable way to manage it.

Although this may be slightly off topic,
when I see violent crimes in the news
these days especially cases involving
family members or close acquaintances
I’ve noticed that victims often receive
psychological counseling or
psychiatric treatment afterward.
However, in many cases, the perpetrators
do not receive that same kind of intervention.

The people who truly need psychological
treatment and healing are often
the perpetrators themselves.
When stress builds up,
it can eventually turn into anger.
That’s why I believe it’s important to address
and treat the root cause of that anger,
rather than just suppressing it temporarily.
Of course, I’m not saying that I have serious
psychological issues or unresolved anger myself.

Q. Opportunity of Dr. Younggeun Ji?
What is a new field you would
like to challenge yourself in?
I do DJing, but I haven’t been able
to pursue it as much as I would like.
These days, I’ve enrolled in an academy
to study music production.
I want to build a stronger foundation
in music and express the stories
I want to tell through music.

I saw in another ACMESHE official site interview
that there was a doctor who works
as a DJ as well I’d love to join your label too.
Another thing I’m currently pursuing is Pilates.
I’m not planning to stop at simply learning it
I’m also considering getting certified as an instructor.
Part of this is preparation for
whatever the future may bring.
But above all, since it’s rooted in movement
and exercise, I think it’s incredibly beneficial.

Q. Threat of Dr. Younggeun Ji?
As a doctor, DJ, and travel foodie,
what poses the biggest threat to sustaining
these different lifestyles?
And how do you manage it?
I always keep Plan B and Plan C in mind.
My philosophy is to choose the second-best
option rather than risk the worst-case scenario.
If things don’t go as planned, I make sure
I have backup plans in place so that
everything doesn’t completely fall apart.
Pilates is also part of that Plan B.
At the same time, it’s beneficial in many ways,
so I’m confident it’s a worthwhile path.
